My epoxy has exceeded the recommended curing time but is still sticky. Why?

Several factors can prevent proper curing: low temperature, off-ratio mixing, insufficient mixing, high humidity, poor ventilation, or using the wrong resin or hardener. Epoxy hardener is not a catalyst—adding more hardener will not speed up curing. Follow the correct mixing ratio with suitable temperature and ventilation. For mixing ratios and temperature guidance, refer to the product catalogue. For more detail, read our post Curing Time Determines Success or Failure! What You Must Know Before Working with Epoxy Resin.
